 DREAM—In a Basement:
In my dream I find myself in a basement or some type of enclosure that was easily entered and then the entrance will disappear or be changed by motion of the structure so there is no exit and then the structure will close in around me. I will often wake in my attempt to escape and as of date have never had it totally collapse on me.

INTERPRETATION:
The basement or enclosure may represent inside of you, down in your feelings. The motion of the structures in your life cause you to feel like you are stuck, that there is no way out.
Perhaps you need for new doors to walk through in your life situations. Don't let your feelings keep you trapped.
As bad as it may seem sometimes, things will never get so bad that they collapse on you.  :o)

 DREAM—The Rooms in my House:
I have a recurring dream where I am worried about not having enough room in my house and I suddenly remember rooms I have forgotten about, rooms I had intentions of using but never did.I discover that my house is huge and  has wonderful rooms of great decor and interest with incredible potential for finishing.  Often I dream about the same house but sometimes it is a different house.  There are 2 or 3 floor plans that keep appearing in my dreams.

INTERPRETATION:
A house represents your physical body, spiritual self or both. What happens inside the house usually represents what is going on in your life or inside of you.
Perhaps you are afraid that there won't be enough of what you need  and yet there is plenty and more of everything. That which is inside of you is beautiful and spacious. There are parts of yourself that you have yet to discover. You have "incredible potential for finishing."  Keep working on yourself, the results will be well worth it!

 DREAM—My doctor wants "ME":
"I have been in a new house with my son for 12 months, having landed a great new job.  It entailed moving house to a suburb about 25 kms away from our previous community, so I had to change doctors obviously.  I have no problems with this, & have found a good doctor, have got used to the shopping and really enjoy my job.

I have a recurring dream that my previous doctor is seeking me out because his marriage (which is incidentally rock solid, I thought)is dissolving, and I wake up as he is kissing me.  I have been having this dream about twice every week for about three months.  I have not been thinking about him at all."

INTERPRETATION:
In Dreams, a doctor usually represents our inner healer.
Marriage has to do with uniting the male and female parts within yourself or integrating the various parts of yourself. It can also represent the coming together of ideas or other things in your life.
The fact that your doctors marriage in real life is "rock solid" suggests that you have had yourself pulled together pretty good in the past but perhaps need to pay more attention to your male side now. Your "inner healer" (or doctor) is trying to get your attention by kissing you in the dream. Because he is "kissing" you (putting attention on your lips or mouth), may suggest that  you need to pay attention to what you are "saying" or "not saying." The male part of yourself that perhaps wouldn't be afraid to say what you thought.
Because you wake up when he is kissing you may mean that you need to wake up to what you are saying that perhaps isn't in your best interest or you need to speak your truth. Have you been keeping things in that you need to let out? The doctor is trying to heal you. Be true to yourself and express your honest feelings. Doing so will do wonders for how you feel about yourself and for you life.

 DREAM—Castle on a cliff:
"I had a dream a long time ago. Normally I don't remember any of my dreams but this one was very different. In it I was in a gigantic castle on a tall cliff.  I was in the tower when it started to crumble away. I could see the sky and it was very dark, a lot of black and purple with thunder crashes. When I looked down there was nothing there as if I was in some void. As I made my way across a bridge to another tower I hear a women crying shortly after my dream was over. This whole dream also had a very overwhelming sense of dread. And for the life of me I don't understand it. Please help me to under stand it. Thank You."

INTERPRETATION:
Castles represent places where Kings and Queens live, those that we look up to as having everything needed. They can also represent the grand and glorious "structures" that we rely on for security (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually).  These structures can be things like our marriage, job, social group or even religion.
Because you are on a high cliff and in a tower, it suggests that you have come to a high place in your involvement and understanding of whatever this structure is in your life.
The crumbling indicates that this structure is going to fail you, but for a higher purpose. The void that opens up after this happens is the unknown within yourself that perhaps you have not yet delved into. Maybe you have been busy appearing like a queen on the outside but will now get to face your inner self and find the truth of who you are.
This is a dreadful experience for most because of "fear of the unknown." However, there is a bridge provided for you to walk to a new tower which will more than likely be a high place of a different, more desirable sort.
Refer to the list of dream symbols in The World of Mirrors for further insights into the colors purple, black and the thunder etc.

 DREAM—War:
"MY dream was about a war and it was cloudy and raining and I was crying as I seen
the fear in everyone's eyes and I was running trying to save myself."

INTERPRETATION:
War most often has to do with inner conflict. You may be faced with a situation in which you are dealing with many feelings.
Clouds contain the moisture or rain (negative feelings; unresolved grief or other feelings) which keep us from seeing the sun or the wonderful things in life.
The fear you saw in everyone's eyes was your own fear.
You need to stop running and resolve the fear and conflict inside.
Sounds like you are going through an emotional cleansing.

 Dream—Pick the Lotus:
"I am on a dirt road in a pickup being driven by and old woman.  We cross a bridge,
and I notice some white lotuses growing in the murky water.  She looks at me as if she knows that I have to go pick one.  I have this incredible urge to pick a lotus.  So we turn around and I get out of the truck.  I go down to the river and struggle through the water to pick a lotus.  When I finally get one, the water is no longer around me, I am floating above it!  I go back to the woman and she is now a beautiful ageless young woman.  I vaguely remember another person in my dream, it was a young person, I think a girl, it seems like it may have been my sister."

INTERPRETATION:
Every symbol has great significance.
The dirt road, pickup and old woman are all aspects of you. The pickup may have to do with the way you are traveling through life. A pickup would indicate that life is a lot of work. (A truck is usually used for work) The dirt road may be showing how your path is . . . a lot of dirt or undesirable things on it.
The old woman may represent the wise feminine aspect of yourself. Either you are already paying attention to that part of yourself and letting the wise feminine (spiritual/feeling/sensitive) aspect direct your path or else you need to. By doing so, you will realize and experience the most beautiful aspects of yourself (the ageless young woman at the end of the dream).
The bridge represents the bridging of a gap between two places—probably between your outer and inner world.
The main symbol seems to be the Lotus. Among some of its many meanings, it represents the true self found in the center of your being. It also symbolizes everlasting change and the harmony of the Universe. This is what you are after in your dream. Either you are on your way to finding your true self or else you need to be.
Water usually has to do with your feelings. Because the water was murky, it probably represents negative feelings. Therefore, you may have faced or need to face some of your negative feelings in order to find your true self after which, you will find that you have risen above the difficulties you have or are facing and will see the beautiful being that you are.
The younger woman or sister is also an aspect of you. What characteristics do you think your sister represents about you?
As always, it is the meanings that resonate with you which are the ones that are correct. If none of the above feels correct, read The World of Mirrors to better know how to come to the correct interpretation for you. I can only suggest basic ideas without knowing you and your life situation better.

 DREAM—Animals Wrestling:
I had a dream where I woke up to the sounds of a pig.  The pig, as it turned out, was
in our front yard, running around and digging in the bushes.  I woke my brother to share this strange thing with him.  We went to the front door to take a closer
look, and the pig was still just running around and digging.  The pig appeared to be mean, and my initial feeling was that of fear. We had breakfast, and then returned to
take a look afterwards.  This time, there were several farm animals in a circle in our front yard, and they were having wrestling matches.  Also, there was a horse pulling a mattress or a mat or something like that around the circle, and the animals were jumping on and off if it (can't explain this one, it was weird, as was the rest of the dream!) like they were playing or something.
So we go outside to watch, and now a fence was along the front sidewalk of our
house, between us and the animals, and it was a chicken wire one.  We went down to the fence and watched the wrestling.
A dog came over (the one from Frasier, the smart rat terrier), and puts his paw on the fence quite casually, and starts chatting with us in English about BS things.  He tells us he is not supposed to be talking to humans since he might get in trouble with the other animals if the talking animal secret gets out.  Anyway, we talk for a bit, and then the dog leaves after he notices one of of the other animals checking him out, thinking he is being bad for talking to 'humans', and doesn't want to be busted for 'breaking the animal rules'... I remember tossing a lot in bed, maybe the pig eventually came after me, but I am not sure... And that was it...

INTERPRETATION:

Because you were with your brother, you may want to consider what characteristics he represents about you.

The fact that it took place in your front yard indicates that your answers are right in front of you. Perhaps you need to look around you (in your yard so t speak) to see the answer to your questions about life.

Animals usually refer to some aspect of the instinctive side of our nature.  If they are wild and free, they can represent our connection to nature or the natural way of doing things.  If they are ferocious, they can represent our more primitive, aggressive side.  Tame animals represent the controlled expression of your instinctual nature.

Because the ones in your dream were wrestling, it seems that you may be in conflict about the things your natural instincts are telling you to do, perhaps you are afraid of those instincts the way you feared the pig in the dream. Maybe you view those feelings as you would a pig. Here are some suggested meanings for pigs and horses from the list of symbols in The World of Mirrors.
PIGS:
• In some cultures pigs are considered to be very "dirty" and unfit for human consumption.
• At times, people are referred to as "pigs" for their excessive desires or attitudes.
• They are associated with greed, stubbornness, and gluttony. Are you (or someone important to you) being "hoggish" with money, time, food, energy, or personal possessions?
• In some cultures the pig is a symbol of prosperity because the families owning one are assured of food for an entire year.

HORSES:
• The horse represents a powerful aspect of yourself.  It can represent your feelings or physical body.  A symbol of power.  (True power comes from wisdom.  Some of the gateways to wisdom are: loving, sharing your gifts, compassion, caring and teaching.)
• Is it wild and free or tame and controlled?  This may represent how you are feeling about a situation in your life.
• At times, horses can also be considered messengers, relaying information from the unconscious to the conscious, from the spiritual to the physical.

Perhaps you need to allow all pathways to have equal validity represented by the many different animals.

You may also consider that perhaps you need to be more playful in your life, following your natural desire to be like a kid or just do what you want.

It seems obvious from your having a conversation with the dog that it is important for you to communicate with the natural intuitive side of yourself. Really pay attention to what you are feeling and to your insights.

I could go on quite a bit more about this dream, but feel that you should consider the ideas I have shared so far and listen to the ideas that come to you.

 DREAM—Washing my hair:
I was washing my hair, and before I could rinse the shampoo out, all of the water
drained out of the bathtub.  I tried refilling the tub, but it drained out as fast as I was
putting it in.  I wrapped a towel around my head.  I don't remember what happened after that in the dream.

INTERPRETATION:
Here is a list of suggested meanings for "hair" taken fromThe World of Mirrors.
• That which comes out of your head . . . thoughts, knowledge and reasoning
• It is symbol of vanity, security, sensuality, sexual appeal, and of youth.  In some cultures women are not allowed to show their hair outside their homes.
• It represents physical and spiritual strength.  Samson's hair was the source of his strength.  Losing hair may therefore indicate a loss of strength.
• White or gray hair represents age and wisdom while body hair may symbolize protection and warmth
• Because it grows out of the head which is the energy center that connects us to spirit, it can represent spiritual power flowing out and connecting you to the universe
• The Hindus believe that hairs symbolize the lines of force of the universe

In the dream, you were trying to cleanse (whatever meanings for hair listed above that resonate with you)—perhaps your thoughts or the way you are thinking about something in your life. In doing so, you were coming up short with what was needed to complete the process — the water. It was going as fast as it was coming. The meaning of water varies somewhat from culture to culture but usually has to do with emotions, feelings, intuition, psychic perceptions and the subconscious mind. Flowing water symbolizes flowing emotions and feelings.  Water also has to do with spiritual alignment and attunement.
Perhaps the answers to you problem/s are coming to you—the "solution" is there but you are letting it escape you before utilizing it to accomplish what you would like to accomplish. Or perhaps you need to pay more attention to what you are really feeling.

 DREAM—Swimming:
I've had a recurring dream about surviving and swimming in DEEP ocean waves.  We must swim many many miles to get "home."  We could die in this water, but I am not afraid.  The waves are dangerously huge and the water is deep and dark. It is exciting and life threatening, we have to use our bodies to transport us this distance, not boats.   I often have a cousin in the dream with me who is more courageous than I am and optimistic about this undertaking in the dream.   I am friends with this cousin but we don't see or talk too often.  But she lives near my parents home.

INTERPRETATION:
As in the dream above this one, the meaning of water varies but usually has to do with emotions, feelings, intuition, psychic perceptions and the subconscious mind. It also has to do with spiritual alignment and attunement.

Swimming and using your bodies to get to your destination represents the way you are moving through your feelings to return to the truth of who you are. You are not relying on other outer means.

The dangerously huge waves probably represent the large and difficult things you are facing on your journey back to your true self. It is usually the negative feelings (dark water) we have not resolved that are the cause of most of our challenges. Often times our feelings such as "feeling overwhelmed," "stress," fear of failure," "feeling we are not good enough," "fear of what others will think of us," and so on,  feel life threatening. What are the feelings you are dealing with?

Even though life throws some big waves your way, you will not be overcome by the challenges. You're not afraid of the process. Perhaps you need to recognize the quality of courage that you either have or need to cultivate that is represented by your cousin in the dream. The fact that you don't communicate with her or see her often may indicate that you are not as in touch with the courageous part of yourself as you ought to be. But because she lives by your parents indicates that this quality is close to the mother and father aspects of yourself within you.

Because this dream recurs, it may be trying to tell you how important it is for you to face your negative feelings and resolve them courageously.

 DREAM—Pulled out of Bed:
I  had a dream a week before my father died 9 months ago.....only it was more than a dream, it felt completely real. I was pulled off my bed by this overpowering force. I was not afraid, but it was out of my control and it was pulling me off my bed by my feet. I forced myself to wake up.  All was still.  A split second later when I closed my eyes I was being pulled off the bed. I hung on tightly to the  mattress and pulled it off the bed with me. I was dragged by the feet into the closet and the back wall of the closet disappeared and we just kept going and going and going and going until thud we finally hit a wall. I looked in front of me and there was a dancing blue light in the figure of a stick man. I shared it with my dad on e mail.  About a week later he died suddenly.  When I was home at the funeral I looked out his bedroom window and there was THE Stickman.....in the handicapped zone. Only it was in a
wheelchair. This one was dancing. Dad was disable from a closed  head injury for 15 years.  He had not been able to lay down for 15 years, had to sleep sitting up.  He was cognitively and emotionally and spiritually and mentally completely intact. In fact he used his spirituality to cope and had a wonderful sense of humor even though the pain was debilitating and had him house bound and he could not ride in a car or walk without his walker, as he might suddenly fall.  When I shared my dream, he said he had been having dreams of being able to drive again and run and move around freely.

INTERPRETATION:
We "sleep" in beds. Are you asleep to things that are going on inside of you or in your life? Perhaps there is an aspect of yourself trying to "wake you up" so to speak and help you be more aware of what is really going on.
Feeling "out of control" as you were being dragged from your bed may mean that you are resisting the changes in your life because you have a need to be in "control" and are afraid to let go and just trust the flow of life. The fact that you held on so tightly that you took the mattress with you into the closet (into your inner feelings and self) and then to where you see the dancing stick man (which you interpreted to be the handicap sign) indicates that "holding on to what you have always known, resisting the changes and being afraid to trust" is what is handicapping you in your life. By using your "spirituality and humor" to cope as your dad did, will enable you to transform your handicap into a dance. Learn the lessons from your fathers life. They are for you.

 DREAM—222:
"I keep dreaming of the number 222.  I see it everywhere, signs, license plates, etc."
"I wake up and the time on my clock is 222.  This can be during the day or at night.  Something about this number means light or knowing.  I'm not sure. Hope you can help."

INTERPRETATION:
One of the phenomena which is occurring these days to let us know that we are moving with spirit, a way of making us aware of the energies and what is going on with us on deeper levels, is the appearance of three or more of the same number.

You are correct in interpreting 222 to mean "light or knowing" because that is the thought your inner voice gave to you. That is your most important answer.

Another interpretation you may consider for 222 has to do with "the resurrection and ascension process." If this causes a response inside of you, you can know that you are experiencing this on some level.
