to see painting & poem number one from this experience
If you are interested in healing the earth and its people, this is an experience worth taking your time to read . . .
It had been a peculiar yet perfect day! As I stood there cleaning my palette and paint brushes, the evening sun warmed my back as the spirit warmed my soul! I had just completed twelve paintings, all according to the divine instructions given me. As I pondered the marvelous experiences of the day, I was filled with joy, awe and wonder. What did it all mean? For what purpose had I done this?
Spiritual experiences had taught me that this was a sacred place and I held within my heart all that had transpired, content keeping it there. Had I not been instructed otherwise (now three and a half years later, by the same voice that asked me to do this in the first place), that’s where they would have remained.

Introduction
It had been a peculiar yet perfect day! As I stood cleaning my palette and paint brushes, the evening sun warmed my back as the spirit warmed my soul! I had just completed twelve paintings in twelve hours as inspired to do.
It began when I was with a dear friend of mine as we were doing a trade show in California. She shared that she was planning to go to Kansas City, Missouri and was trying to determine which day was best for her to be there. She elicited my assistance in the matter and we determined that it was to be on March 20th. As soon as that day was spoken, my body filled with the spirit and a powerful impression that I was to go with her. I was so surprised that I kept it to myself, questioning why I should go. Unbeknown to me, we had both received the same impression.
After the trade show, I returned home to Idaho with thestrong impression "that I was to go to Missouri” occupying my mind. Continuing to wonder why on earth “I” was suppose to go, I was prompted to look at the 20th of March in a journal I had. I was surprised to see that it was the Spring Equinox (this is when balance exists between light and dark). Even though I had never even thought about the Spring Equinox before, the importance of its relationship to my going was definitely felt. I received such a powerful witness that it removed all doubt as to whether or not to go.
Even with the knowledge that it was God’s will that I go, my mind had to know why. As soon as I inquired, there was an immediate, direct answer: “Take 12 canvases.” I was stunned! I had not even considered painting, and yet it seemed so natural that I would use one of my greatest gifts.
I then asked, “What do I do with '12' canvases?” The answer: “You are to go to a certain place at Adam-ondi-Ahman on March 20th at six o'clock in the morning. Face east and paint one canvas each hour, turning 30 degrees to the right each time you paint until six o'clock in the evening, completing a full circle.” Upon receiving this answer, I sat there in amazement, pondering what I had just heard. I was then shown in vision, the very spot of ground upon which I was to stand while painting these 12 pieces.
I later discovered that people from many religious backgrounds are drawn to this part of the country every year, feeling of it’s importance.
What happened on March 20, 1997 still amazes me . . . even now!
The original paintings created at Adam-ondi-Ahman may be seen at Valerieann's Rapid Eye Office in St. George Utah. 1067 E. Tabernacle St. Suite 4
