The Mysteries of Life,

In the Pod of a Pea

In the moments of silence, great truth's abound.

The mysteries of all things are there to be found.

In such a moment was revealed to me,

The mysteries of life, in the pod of a pea.

There are pods of all sizes, shapes, and forms,

Contained within each are peas newly born.

Some carry on 'til they're plump and round.

Some remain tiny and can barely be found.

Each has a measure of creation to fill,

That of knowing and doing the Father's will.

Each plays it's role as only it should,

Filling it's measure, God calling it, " Good."

The time that it takes doesn't matter a bit.

'Cause when in the Present, time doesn't exist.

In that moment of silence, I was able to see,

The source of all life, energy, light,

...and me!

The Peace That Surrounds Me

As the waves of the ocean embrace the shore,

As the warmth of the sun penetrates the earth,

As the calming breeze blows through the air,

There's a peace that surrounds me, always there.
